Angels Introduction
Belief in Angels has been has been around long before my life began.
Over the last few years, Angels have really become popular. On TV,
"Touched By An Angel" was one of the most popular shows on Sunday
nights! Everywhere you turn, someone is selling something to do with
Angels, i.e., pictures, dolls, figurines, pens, clips, and even J.C.
Penny had a picture of a Angel Bear on one of their Christmas catalog.
There a multitude of websites dedicated to Angels, pictures of
Angels, and poems about Angels. I am adding one more web page, but I
want to do something different. I want to have personal stories about
Angels or situations that happened in your life that you know that there
was an Angel presence.
In one of my bibles, I counted 79 references to Angels. There
probably are more than that depending on which version of the bible that
you have.
There are many songs about Angels. I have developed a list below. You
can help me add to the list by dropping me an e-mail line.
Personally, I have magnet Angels in the kitchen and my office,
porcelain Angels in the cabinet and even on top of my TV set. I have a
Angel clip on my car sun visor, and I have a habit of rubbing it as I
take off in my car. I even have a tiny Angel pin attached to the inside
of my daily planner to watch over me. As you can tell, I believe in
Angels and I know they watch over me.

Angel Poems
GUARDIAN ANGEL
Walking with angels, I do it every day
My guardian angel is with me, come what may
Assigned by God and sent to watch over you
He's with you each day, no matter what you do
You don't believe, you don't think this is so
He guards each step you take, he wants you to know
Ever been close to death, just one step away
And then you say, boy was I ever lucky today
Luck didn't do it, whether you realize it or not
Protected in his arm's, the Lord has not forgot
You don't believe, you don't think this is so
He guards each step you take, he wants you to know
More times than you know, death does knock
But your angel will protect, if your planted firmly on the rock
The next time you come close, take a good look around
He may be right next to you or no where to be found
You don't believe, you don't think this is so
He guards each step you take, he wants you to know
You may or may not see him, but he's alway's there
Remember that the next time you miss death by a hair
Do you need an angel, do you know where to look
All the promises are given, just read in God's book
You don't believe, you don't think this is so
He guards each step you take, he wants you to know
The minute you are saved, you're assigned an angel of your own
He will see you through, till God calls you home
On that day he will step foward and take your hand
He will lead you through the gate, home to the promise land
You don't believe, you don't think this is so
He guards each step you take, he loves you, you know

ANGELS ARE WITH US
Angels, why they are everywhere
Looking out for you and me;
They stand as guardians
Ready for what there is to be.
Our Angels have been sent by God
To watch over us every single day;
I pray they do their job well
To keep us from harm?s way.
Angels can be any one
That has gone on before;
They could be your Mother or Dad;
They could be your friend or more.
Yes, I believe in Angels!
I feel their presence in my heart;
They are with us constantly
Until this world we depart.

A N G E L S
Do you believe in angels?
Who will take care of you?
I think that every child of God
Feels that this is true.
Just think of the many times
You've been in danger here,
And you say, "Boy, that was close!"
Well, your angel, he was near.
Our eyes may not see them,
But we can feel their spirit near;
They help when they are needed
Many times down here.
Yes, I believe in angels;
They protect us night and day;
When we pray, our Father hears us,
And will send them down our way.
When my life in finished here;
When no more down here I'll roam;
My angel will come for me,
And he will take me home.

"ALL IN ALL"
One night when I was lying a sleep
I found myself in a valley deep
With beautiful canyons and flowing streams
Bright blue sky and river of dreams
There I met the ANGEL of love
Who had come from up above
All my fears had really gone
Even though I was all alone
When I asked him for some advise
He looked me straight in the eyes
That moment my eyes were full of fears
He whispered some thing in my ears
And gave me a thought more than deep
The message was a treasure which I had to keep
He told me "It should reach everyone"
I asked "What I will get in return"
"You'll be counted among the blessed ones"
"If the job is really done"
Than he gave me sudden surprise
When he disappeared in front of my eyes
So then I started getting pale
Cause I couldn't find my way in the vale
Than I hear the ANGEL'S voice
And I stood like the frozen ice
"Have no fear O! young one"
"Cause your journey has just begun"
"Open the eyes of your heart"
"And you will never tear apart"
"Just don't care what people say"
"Only than you will find your way"
"Make your will more than strong"
"I promise that you will never go wrong"
I woke up it was morning light
I remembered the dream I had last night
Under my pillow I found a note
with the message ANGEL had quote
"Oceans, stars, and big big mountains"
"Sun, rain, and beautiful fountains"
"Rivers, water falls and trees"
"In each and every thing you can see"
"The one who has created them all"
"All mighty God is someone all in all"

Don't forget to be kind to strangers, for some who have done this have
entertained angels without realizing it!
Angel Stories
My wife and I were driving in San Antonio, Texas one Saturday and we had
stopped at a red light to make a left hand turn. Evidently there was a
young man driving too fast that was coming up behind us. I guess if I
had looked into the rear view mirror and saw him coming, I would have
had a heart attack, but all I heard was a terrible screeching sound of
brakes. To avoid slamming into the rear of our car, he swerved to the
left and slammed into a car going in the other direction. His car
stopped in the ditch beside the road and he was slumped over the wheel.
Several people helped the passenger, so my wife and I went on down the
road. I know without a shadow of doubt, we had a Guardian Angel looking
out for us. If that young man had hit us, even with both of us using our
seatbelts, we both would have been seriously injured or maybe even
killed. Someone made that young man jerk his wheel to the left to avoid
us. It just was not our time to die!
That is one of my stories, let me hear one of your stories. I will
put them on this page for publication.
Subject: RE: "THE HAND"
My daughter Kathleen, was 15... too young to seriously date but she had
a boyfriend.
One evening when I was leaving to pick up my son Paul, from baseball
practice, she
asked if she could just go with her boyfriend to pick up his little
brother at a
friend's house. She said they would come right back.
I said, "All right, just make sure you wear your seat belt, and come
right home." It was my father's birthday and my youngest daughter
Therese, was already at my father's house waiting for us to come over
with the cake I had yet to pick up at the store. I left to pick Paul up
at school, but decided to take the highway, rather than the shortcut
along the back roads.
After leaving the school, Paul and I ran in the store for the cake and
some last minute goodies. As we were getting into the car, we heard and
saw paramedics, fire trucks, three ambulances and of course a multitude
of police cars. I got a sick feeling in my stomach and said to Paul,
"Somebody needs our prayers, quick." I wondered if there was a fire or a
bad car accident. At one of the intersections I had to stop to let more
emergency vehicles through, and prayed, "Lord, those people need you
right now, go to them and place Your protective hand over them."
We stopped at my parents to drop off the food before going home to pick
up Kathleen, but my father met me at the car and told us we'd be
starting the party a little later because Therese had fallen asleep.
"Which way did you go to the school?" he asked, "Because there was a bad
accident on the back road, I heard someone was killed. It happened just
about the time you had to pick up Paul at the school and I know you
always go that way. I was so happy to see you pull in, I had a gut
feeling it was you."
As Paul and I drove the short distance home, I could see our house was
dark and when Kathleen is home alone, she always burned every light. As
I turned off the ignition, tears fell, "It was Kathleen," I told Paul,
"I know it." I ran in the house and checked our answering machine, no
one had called. I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that someone would
have called by now. "Paranoid," that's what Kathleen always called me,
and that's what I was telling myself, "You're just paranoid!" Then, the
phone rang. It was her friend's mother, who worked in the emergency room
of our local hospital. She only told me that the three of them were in
an accident and were being transported to the hospital. I didn't call my
husband at work, nor my parents. Paul and I just left for the hospital.
As I pulled into the parking lot, one of the paramedics, someone we have
known for years, met us at our car. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," he said
with tears streaming down his face. The next thing I remember after was
talking to the doctor in the hallway of the ER. He asked me if I
believed in God, and with that my knees gave way. "No," he said, "you
don't understand, do you believe in divine intervention?" I stammered, a
weak, "Yes." Not having a clue what he was talking about. He smiled at
me and asked, "Do you know what shirt your daughter is wearing, night?"
Nodding no, he told me to go down the hall and look. "Your daughter is
blessed with angels and so are you. From what the emergency personnel
told me, there is no way that your daughter should be alive, let alone
only have a few scratches. "
Kathleen was laying on a cart, waiting for more x-rays. When I got to
her, we both sobbed. As I was hugging her I had the urge to check her
shirt, unzipping her jacket. I read the words, "Jesus Saves." I knew
then, what the doctor had meant. All three were treated and released. On
the way home that night, Kathleen told this story: "It was really weird,
about a quarter of a mile before the accident, I said, 'Wait, we forgot
to put our seat belts on, my Mother will kill me.' Then a car was coming
towards us in our lane, he swerved, and I knew we got hit on the
passenger side of the car, where I was sitting. We got hit a total of
three times because the car kept spinning in a circle. I felt his
brother's hand on my shoulder, holding me tightly in place. But Mom,
after it was all over, I could still feel the hand on my shoulder. I
looked and his little brother had flown out the back window of the car,
as we later found out, on the first spin. "It was an angel, Mom, I know
it!" I knew it too, especially when we went the next day to look at the
car, it had been split in half, right underneath my daughters seat. The
driver of the other car, witnesses said, was traveling 90-95 miles per
hour and the point of impact at that speed was directly at Kathleen's
door. The police report stated that the car door was found fifty feet
away from the accident scene, with the seat belt attached. So when the
door broke loose, "the hand" was the only thing that saved my daughter's
life. The Lord knew, long before I did that my child was in trouble, and
I will always praise Him for saving her life and restoring mine. I have
been meaning to write this story for the past couple years. Kathleen
just turned 21. While I was writing this I smiled and cried, but it's
all true.
